As a Team Plan subscriber, you can create a team, invite members, purchase and assign seats, and consolidate billing—all within the Team Dashboard feature.
Important Note: The Team Dashboard does not provide a shared workspace for collaborative research. It is solely for team management and billing.
How to create or join a team
Subscribing to the Team plan automatically creates your team dashboard. If you are looking to join a team, then have these options:
You'll be presented with an option to accept an invitation and join a team during onboarding right after signing up if you have a pending team invitation.
OR go to the Team Portal section and click "Join a team" and you'll see 2 sections:
Invitations: This is applicable to users that have pending invitation(s).
Teams you might know: Applicable to users with work emails that matches existing teams. You can request to join a team from the suggested teams.
How to invite users to your team
Click "Invite members"
Enter the email(s) of the people you want to invite. The user will receive an invitation through email.
You can keep track of who you have invited in the "Pending invites" tab
You can also keep track of who requested to join in the "Join requests" tab
Users that accepted your invite or you accepted their request to join will be in the "Members" tab
How to purchase seats for your members
Go to your team and click "add or remove seats"
Select the number of seats you want
Complete the payment, and you are set!
How to assign/unassign seats & remove members
Go to the "Members" tab
Click on the "Seat" option and assign a a paid seat to a member (or unassign a paid seat)
Click "Remove" next to the user to remove them from the team
NOTE:
Each user can either own or join one team at a time.
Only a free plan user can be invited and join a team.
Users when joining are automatically assigned a paid seat if the team have unused seats. Otherwise, they join as free users and you can purchase seats and assign them accordingly.
There are 3 permission levels: View, Admin, and Owner. Only the owner can managing billing and payments.
